There seems to be some momentum gathering with this latest report that Clarkson will be sacked in the morning

While it wouldn't shock me if he is indeed sacked, I wouldn't exactly take carthrottle or The Telegraph as gospel on the matter.

if it does turn out to be true and BBC tries to continue with top gear their viewership will drop dramatically. honestly if BBC wants to keep making money they'd be stupid to sack him

no they are definitely not the definitive sources of truthful media but you can never 100% dismiss reports (unless said reports say we are going to be driving flying vehicles in 2 years time)

Chris Evan's is currently faves to replace him and I think he'd do well presenting a car show, don't get me wrong, it wouldn't be the same without Clarkson but things started feeling a bit stale to me in the past 30 episodes there have been less than 5 great episodes imho

Yes Chris Evans. He's not clarkson, but he's a great host and could, maybe do wonder (and he's a HUGE car guy).

But the other 2 have said they won't do it without clarkson so it has to be a whole new cast. I'm calling it now if clarkson goes top gear will only last 2 more seasons max
